Earthworms from jello

Time

For Halloween but also for other occasions, I got at a children's party a very unusual dessert from jelly: earthworms !?

When the things came to the table, I wanted to flee spontaneously. But when the daughter of the house, as well as the other children were really happy and then eagerly attacked, I got over and tried the gardeners.

Then my son and I looked at each other laughing and enjoyed the dessert with the other children. Unfortunately, I have not had a camera, so I can not deliver pictures. But I promise that the effect is really good and they also taste great.

ingredients

  • 2 pck of red jello for cooking
  • 1 L of apple juice
  • 3-4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pck of gelatin
  • 1 tall heat-resistant glass or large cup (coffee mug)
  • Knick straws

preparation

  1. Cook the jelly according to the instructions, but instead of water use the apple juice and process the gelatine. Make sure that all the powder has really dissolved well. Then remove the pot from the heat and let the liquid cool slightly.
  2. In the meantime put so many straws in the glass / cup that they are very tight (it is important to take a tall container, otherwise the stalks will bend away).
  3. Now pour the liquid into the straws, the guest mum has a very small. Used funnel. Wait until everything is really stiff.
  4. Then remove the straws from the container and hold briefly under warm water, then the "worms" come out easier.
  5. When served in a bowl, it really looks like you've spent the last few hours in the garden looking for an "alternative protein-rich meal".

I wish you a lot of fun while copying, maybe someone will donate a photo afterwards.

In the information on the times for preparation, etc. is not taken into account the waiting time.
