Egg in tomato - a small appetizer
Here is a very simple dish, good as a starter or small meal: egg in tomato.
The ingredients are usually in the house, and so, if you come home late, in a very short time a delicious meal or appetizer. It will take longer for the pizza delivery man to be called and deliver!
The ingredients:
- 4 big tomatoes
- 4 eggs
- 50 g of grated cheese per egg
- Pepper salt
- a little butter per tomato
That is how it goes:
- Cut a lid off the tomatoes and hollow them out with a spoon.
- If you want, you can pick up the inside and the lid and freeze it for a tomato soup.
- The tomatoes are lightly peppered and salted inside and a bit of butter is made
- put in. The inside of the tomato is well spread with grated cheese.
- In each tomato an egg is opened.
- The tomatoes are now placed in a buttered ovenproof dish and oven-baked at 200 degrees for about 15-20 minutes, until the eggs are squashed.
Delicious with buttered toast!
