Eierschecke

This is a traditional recipe for Eierschecke, with many variants. Easy to bake is this:
ingredients
For the dough:
- 1 egg yolk
- 60 g of sugar
- 60 g of margarine or butter
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 100-125 g of flour
For the quark filling:
- 500 g quark (lean stage)
- 2 eggs
- 100 g of sugar
- 1/2 packet of custard powder vanilla
- to taste 2-3 drops of butter vanilla flavor
For the upper filling:
- 1/2 l of milk
- 1 packet of custard powder vanilla
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 150 g butter
- 4 eggs
preparation
- Knead the dough ingredients, lay out a baking tray or springform pan with it.
- Mix the ingredients for the quark filling, spread on the dough and bake at about 175 degrees for about 20 minutes until the cake turns slightly brown.
- In the meantime, make a pudding with custard powder, milk and sugar, stir in the butter and let it cool down a bit.
- Then stir in the 4 egg yolks, beat the egg whites to snow and fold in.
- Put the mixture on the cake and bake for about 30-45 minutes, if necessary, reduce the temperature a bit.
- After baking, let it rest in the oven for a moment.
