Empty picture frame as a small art gallery
An empty picture frame without a glass and back wall turns into an art object in a few simple steps, in which children's pictures and photos appear in a new light.
In an old wooden picture frame, the glass has broken and the back wall looks shabby. Never mind! Using a pencil, mark points on each side of the inner frame at regular intervals (inner frame = 50 cm, then mark with 12.5 cm, 25 cm and 37.5 cm in pencil). Then hammer nails into the marked areas on each side with a hammer. Please use nails with a head. My nails with the little head had real difficulties in tying and tensioning the threads.
Attach colored thread, nylon threads or a thin wire to a nail, pull to the opposite side, stretch and knot. Use clothespins to hold the pictures. To make it look more beautiful, I have covered colorful clothespins with origami paper and then clipped them to the thread. Then hang some nice children's pictures and photos and a great art gallery is ready. Children are especially proud when their artworks hang in such a great setting.
