Hat rubber for cap edge
Caps are a must-have this season; Therefore, my tip as a "misunderstood" confessing wearer: If caps of any kind, although a total of perfect and knitted as desired and / are used enthusiastically, then the lower edge by wearing but unfortunately something ausleiert, that can be annoying!
No panic:
Pull the hat rubber band (if possible in approximately the wool color used) from the inside with an embroidery needle (without a tip - thick eyelet) invisibly close to the edge. If a back seam is present, start right there. Then put on the cap and pull the thread ends to feel tight pull (let!) And knot. Sew the ends (in the seam ?!) - done!
Not only me, but also many other hat fans know this old trick for a long time, but I remembered it on the occasion of my cap-euphoria and certainly for the boys (meaning: inexperienced) useful.
By the way: Hat rubber band is available in the haberdashery section next to buttons, zippers and such articles.
Sorry, in my photo I have unfortunately not put the matching rubber band, but it should also stand out better ...
