Heaven and earth in variations
Ingredients for 4 servings
- 1 kg of potatoes
- salt
- water
- 750 g apples (you can also (only) pears or - my favorite version -1 pear, fill to 750 g with apples)
- Sugar and vinegar to taste
- 2 onions
- 100 g of smoked bacon
preparation
Peel the potatoes, dice them and bring to a boil with a little salt in water.
After a while, add the peeled apples or pears cut into small pieces.
When the potatoes and the fruit are soft, season with sugar and vinegar.
Pour the finished dish with the onions roasted in bacon and golden-yellow roasted onions.
It tastes of black pudding or Kaßler.
