Capunti - a southern Italian pasta specialty with a spice preparation, I discovered in the supermarket.
The package consists of 500 g of special pasta made from durum wheat semolina and 30 g spice preparation with garlic, tomato, parsley, chili, salt and paprika.
ingredients
For the pepper and chicken pan (3 portions)
- half of the pack (ie 250 g of pasta and 15 g spice mixture)
- about 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion
- a little vegetable oil
- 400 g chicken breast fillet
- 2 peppers
- 200 ml sour cream
- Pepper, pepper and sea salt
preparation
- First the onion is peeled, diced and sautéed in a large pan with some vegetable oil.
- Then the chicken breast strips cut into bite-sized pieces are added, seasoned with a little paprika, pepper and salt and well-fried.
- Then the cleaned and cut into small pieces of peppers are added and the whole while stirring under moderate heat a little further fried.
- At the end, stir in the sour cream, taste the whole thing (depending on your taste) and let it all stand on the still hot stove.
- The spice mixture is well stirred with about 20 ml of water in a saucepan, then allowed to boil and simmer over moderate heat until the water is almost completely evaporated.
- Meanwhile, boil the pasta for 9-10 minutes in plenty of salted water, then pour it off and stir well with the spice mixture and olive oil, then everything can be served together.
I wish a good appetite!
