Sauerkraut and rice stew

Another delicious sauerkraut-Dish.

Ingredients:

500 g of sauerkraut
250g uncooked rice (parboiled tastes best!)
500 g minced meat
1 onion
Gyros spice (or homemade spice mix with thyme, oregano, curry, salt, pepper)
2 cups of sour cream
1 cup of cream fraiche or sour cream
1/2 l strong meat or vegetable broth


In the watered Römertopf first half of the rice, then the spiced minced meat with the onions, then half of the herb layers, etc.

On the last layer, spread the sauerkraut sour cream / sour cream mixture, sprinkle with paprika and cook for 1.5 hours at 200 degrees in the oven.

Tastes wonderfully spicy!
