How do radishes stay fresh and crisp?
I was always annoyed when I bought radishes and they were slack and wilted in no time. So they stay fresh and crisp:
Now I came up with the idea to keep the radishes in a wet cloth in the fridge. It does not matter whether with or without green, washed or not. However, I usually make the radishes ready for consumption. Today, I made my cream cheese with radishes and spring onions and lo and behold, the radishes I bought 1 week ago were red and crisp like the first day.
