After I finally ventured into the depths of using gelatin - also thanks to TheFruitAndFlowerBasket.com - I experimented experimentally with various liquids to "glib" them. Ever since my exchange year in America, I have always been a lover of the sweet-and-true Jello and have also become addicted to my children.

However, it contains piles of sugar or artificial sweeteners, which meanwhile are reluctant to constantly offer to the family. One fine day, I came up with the idea of adding simple fruit juice with gelatine and testing the taste. The first attempt was a direct hit:

I had bought a liter of redcurrant nectar and ground gelatin. Measure out half a liter of the juice and about six tablespoons in a bowl, cold, stir in a packet of ground gelatin and swell. In time, bring the remaining juice to a boil. Dissolve the swollen gelatine in it. Pour the mixed liquid from the pot into a glass bowl and allow to cool, then wrap it in the refrigerator with plastic wrap. As a rule, it is enough to do this in the morning to have a delicious dessert in the evening.

Variants are of course all sorts of juices, but we enjoyed the sour tasting juices the best. You can also make less hot juice than a pint and then cool the hot liquid with the missing amount of carbonated water. There remains a small tingling effect on the tongue. For adults, the whole thing is of course also with champagne and juice - the ideas are no limits.
