Mop washer rubber

The summer was over. So we also washed the fly nets ... and suddenly a wire had come loose and stuck the washing machine rubber. And a few moments later there was a lot of water in the bathroom.

At first we did not notice that the rubber had a hole. We only saw the water. After some searching we found the hole. Just the question ... get an expensive craftsman or can you do something?

But how close the hole? Superglue? If that holds with the many water in the machine too? We tried and want to tell you. So first we are in the hardware store, brought superglue, which endures to 180 degrees. Then brought repair kit for motorcycle tires and back home.

First, the hole with superglue poured out. Then a little patch with a lot of glue on it. Glue over it again and then a bigger patch over the whole thing. Finally, glue around it again to seal and tilted over it, and that's it.

As I said, importantly, the glue must hold up to 180 degrees and be waterproof. And I can say ... it works! We have not even seen water leak.

The whole fun costs max. 10 Euro. A craftsman, well that you know for sure ... So super saved money. Try it.
