Puff cherry pie

Total preparation time: 30 min.
This cake is quickly baked in between, when coffee visit logs or even as a surprise for the family.
Ingredients for a whole sheet - variant 1:
- 20 g butter flakes
- 2x puff pastry
- 3 pck vanilla sugar
- 500g quark
- 3 egg yolks
- 150g sugar
- Raisins to taste
- 1 packet of sliced almonds
Put the quark in a bowl, add the yolks and the sugar and stir well, then fold in the raisins.
Variant 2
- 2x puff pastry
- 3 pck vanilla sugar
- 20g butter flakes
- 2 glasses of drained cherries
- 1 packet of sliced almonds
preparation
Preheat the oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes.
Evenly lay out the contents of a packet of puff pastry on a greased baking tray.
Distribute either the cherries or the quark mixture on top, then cover with the contents of the other package of puff pastry, fold over at the edges and press firmly so that nothing can run out.
Then sprinkle with the almonds, spread the butter flakes on top and sprinkle with the vanilla sugar.
Bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes until the cake is golden yellow. Still enjoy a light warm.
We like both variants, I personally tend to cherry filling.
