Rainbow Bread

- 250 ml of milk
- 1/2 cube of yeast
- 3.5 tbsp sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 260 g of flour
- 1.5 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 tbsp salt
- Water / protein for better adhesion of the dough layers

preparation
- Preheat oven to 50 ° C
- Add milk to a cup and heat lukewarm in the microwave.
- Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and the yeast to the heated milk. Crumble yeast first and stir in milk until it has dissolved.
- Put the mixture in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- In the meantime, separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. All we have to do is pick up the yolk, but keep the egg white for later.
- Put the flour in a bowl and add the dough from the oven to the bowl with the flour. Before in the flour, make a small Kuhle for the dough.
- Mix well and add sugar, butter, salt and the egg yolk.
- You're done stirring when there's nothing left on your hands or bowl.
- Now put the lid on the bowl and place it in the oven still at 50 ° C for 45 minutes.
- Take the dough out of the bowl and knead until it is no longer sticky.
- Then form into a roll and divide into 6 parts. The 6 parts, to 6 balls shape.
- Now color each ball in a different color of the rainbow: add a chill into the ball -> pure the food coloring and then knead well so that the dough takes on the color and is completely colored.
- Put the towel over it and in the still preheated oven for 45 minutes.
- Take the dough out and roll out the ball one after the other in the order of the rainbow (when you finish with a ball, put it in a box shape.) This is the 1st layer, for the other layers do the same)
- Apply a little bit of water or egg white between each layer then keep it better.
- When you're done, let the dough rise again briefly
- Now bake the bread for 45 minutes at 190 ° C and then it's done.
