Remaining memory of a beautiful & special day
For occasions such as wedding, birth, communion, confirmation, to the birthday, to the age of majority etc.
I pass this tip on in the memory of my mother, who almost 45 years ago had the idea to give me a lasting memory of my confirmation:
If you meet for a celebration, each guest writes his name in pencil on a tablecloth (preferably white, kept neutral and possibly with a beautiful finish / edge).
Little guests leave a handprint, the name is written by the mother.
The names are then embroidered in different colors; the stitch type is up to you.
Those who are not so skilled in handicrafts, can also trace the names with liquid embroidery. After drying, the embroidery font found in the craft shop / sewing accessories is durable and does not wash out.
For me a very nice memory and even if I do not really often use the tablecloth, I like to look at it again and again and remember this beautiful day.
