Take shaving cream. Rub the helmet and visor with shaving cream, let it work for 3 minutes and wipe it with a damp cloth, also works for leather suits.
The tip also works for the bike, in any case it's a very material-friendly affair.
Beware of textile combo! They have a waterproof membrane or a special coating, which could be damaged in this treatment.
