Use rescue blanket as tablecloth
Ironing is the worst housework for me. Now it's time again, the little children come with all those who are part of it, for Christmas dinner - so, the already big table anyway, gets even bigger and the matching tablecloth has to be ironed.
Since I hate ironing, I got myself a rescue blanket for this year. I do not just put it on the table, the blanket would slip - a thin blanket underneath helps.
It does not just look nice, you can just wipe it off for the next day.
Little hint yet:
Cut the blanket when it is folded. From the still folded remainder one can cut stars or small doilies.
