Remove wallpapers effectively

According to experience, wallpapers are easiest to replace in the state in which they have been applied, namely wet and soaked through. The first step is to perforate the wallpapers with a nail scooter (available in every well-stocked hardware store for a small amount of money) so that the water gets better behind the wallpaper.

You can also soak normal wallpaper and woodchip wall paint without perforating it. However, wallpapers that have been painted with latex paint, as well as some others that have a water-repellent surface, can usually only be removed from the wall without a nail roller and then with subsequent plaster damage.

So you soften the wallpaper well with lye (better for it is warm water). The soaking is easy with a garden sprayer, this is not available, even a bucket with tassel or bath sponge is enough.

The wallpaper is sufficiently wet when it starts to blister.

Only when this condition is reached, should be started with the detachment (has proven from top to bottom, as the spatula remains beautiful free and anyway everything falls down anyway). So removing wallpaper also makes good mood.

The time required is thus reduced and the effort is reduced by half.

Be careful when soaking the wallpaper, make sure that the switches and sockets are de-energized.
