Save ink - refill empty cartridges
Was suggested to write the following as a tip:
Since I like to write letters and cards with the pen, it often happens that after a long time not using the pen, the ink in the cartridge dried.
In order not to have to insert a new cartridge for three words every time, I've bought myself a small ink keg, which you can pretty well close. And holds any longer than a cartridge.
I fill a normal Lamy cartridge with a syringe from the pharmacy, which you can use super often. Now and then I rinse them with water, then it works just fine.
Is just a bit expensive, but you do not need to renew the expensive cartridges every time. If I filled in too much ink, I'll pull it out with the syringe afterwards. So I have from a keg quite a while something.
And yes, you can use a converter - but it is no longer available for all types of fillers.
