Simple Börek with sheep's cheese and parsley

Time

Total preparation time: 45 min.

Some of you may know the puff pastry with which baklava is made. I also take this puff pastry when, just before short, a visit is suddenly at the door and I want to bake something on the fly, which tastes very delicious. Here is a recipe:

ingredients

  • 1 pack of baklava puff pastry
  • 500 g sheep's cheese
  • 1/2 bunch of parsley
  • 250 ml of natural yoghurt
  • a little sunflower oil
  • the yellow of 1-2 eggs

preparation

  1. Lay out a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix yoghurt and oil.
  3. Crush the cheese with the finely chopped parsley and mix.
  4. Then take 2 puff pastries each from the pack, put them on top of each other and lightly brush with the yoghurt oil mixture, sprinkle with the cheese mixture everywhere and then roll in a little firmer or tighter. Repeat this process until the dough is all.
  5. Put all the rolls on the tin, brush with the egg yolk over it and bake for about 25 minutes to 30 minutes at 220 degrees until the surface is golden brown.
  6. After you've taken the tin out of the oven, cut the Börek into arbitrarily sized pieces and you're done!

In addition a salad! Hmmm good appetite!
