I love it when the smell of freshly baked Kanelbullar pulls through the kitchen! Here is my personal favorite recipe:
ingredients
For the dough:
- 1 cube of yeast
- 200 g of warm milk
- 500 g wheat flour
- 75 g of baking margarine
- 50 g of sugar
- 1 egg
- 6 g of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
For covering:
- 25 g soft butter
- 125 g of sugar and cinnamon mixture

Step-by-Step Guide
Mix all ingredients and knead for 5 minutes in the food processor. Leave covered for 1 hour.
Extract the dough into a rectangle and top with the topping - butter flakes and cinnamon - sugar mixture.
Roll it up hard, slice it with a sharp knife.
Place on a baking sheet and sprinkle with whisked egg. Finally, sprinkle the pearl sugar over it.
Bake at 180 degrees for 8- 12 minutes (I use climate agar), best stay in sight of the oven, since the baking time can vary!
