Tinker with shoe boxes

In the child care, in which I once worked, we had as a topic "water". We made of shoeboxes aquariums.

This one needs the following (but is expandable):

  • shoebox
  • blue color or blue cardboard
  • brush
  • Scissors, glue, wire, pliers
  • Various construction paper (for fish)
  • Bird sand, moss

Either one paints the cardboard blue or pastes it. In the time in which the cardboard dries, you can tinker fish from the construction paper. When the paint is dry, stick the moss as aquatic plants to the bottom. Fix the sand with adhesive on one side (longitudinal).

Let it dry again.

The fish can then be fixed with wire from above, then it looks like they are swimming. But you can also glue them on.
