Apple pudding ayurvedic type

It reads a bit elaborate at first, but it is not. Try it, it's worth it.

The first step is to boil ginger water, simply boil 1 - 1.5 L of water with fresh sliced ginger for about 30 minutes. You can also make Chaiwasser in which you also additionally a cinnamon stick, star anise, green coriander seeds and similar spices cooks. You can dry the cinnamon stick and cook it a few more times. If you want to treat yourself, do a few saffron threads with the water.

During this, 2-3 apples are cut into small pieces, possibly peeled and caramelized in about 3 teaspoons of sugar. Remove these from the pot and set aside. Put about 1 tablespoon of ghee (clarified butter, clarified butter) into the saucepan and add 3 heaped EL Gries (I take the sauce from Pomps Kindergrieß, rather a fine semolina), lightly fry this (do not let the pot out of your sight!). This is then filled with about 600 ml of the ginger water and boiled for about a minute while stirring constantly until it thickens. Remove the pot from the heat and stir the apples underneath and a dash of cream.

In Ayurvedic cuisine, it is eaten warm for breakfast, but I prefer to eat it cold or at room temperature later in the day, as it is today for lunch. Incidentally, he also cooks well in the evening before and anyone who wants to warm him warms him in the microwave.

For semolina, please look at the cooking instructions of the packaging, how much water they recommend, I took here the instruction on the pack of Pomps Kindergrieß. The remaining water you can pick up well and maybe pick up to cook other delicious things, e.g. with hot milk in the evening before going to bed, with a pinch of nutmeg or again with tea (black, hibiscus, roibush, ...) bring to a boil.
