Automatically download images from your smartphone to your PC

Anyone who owns a smartphone, certainly knows the problem: You shoot a lot of photos, but the limited space forces you to regularly load the images from the smartphone to the PC. Quite awkward: connect cables, copy pictures, wait, and then delete them on your smartphone.

Easier is it with the Dropbox! In the free version you have 2 GB of free space in the cloud.

That if you have Dropbox installed on your PC and the Dropbox app on your smartphone (both of course for free), then you can enable in the Dropbox app the function "Automatic Camera Upload". (It's best if you are logged into the WLAN, so it does not cost anything extra - but that can be set in the app.)

Result:

When you shoot photos with your smartphone, they are automatically loaded into your Dropbox and then synced to your PC. Now, just next time you're sitting on the PC, drag the pictures from the Dropbox into your existing picture folder and you're done.

No tedious smartphone-to-the-PC-connect-and-wait-to-copy-the-pictures-are more!

PS: Of course you can save not only pictures in the Dropbox, but other files as well.
