Ayran from buttermilk (low in calories)

Me: milk junkie! And way too fat - says my doc. So: buttermilk! Has only 38 kcal / 100 g and tastes great.

Ayran tastes even better, but it is high in calories and expensive. This is how my favorite drink was made: Ayran from buttermilk + lemon. Made fast, refreshing and thanks to the protein content also very filling. Nevertheless, the whole liter has only 190 kcal!

ingredients

  • 500 ml = 1 cup buttermilk - as fresh as possible
  • 500 ml of water
  • Juice of a lemon
  • 1/2 to 1 grain of tsp salt

Stir everything well - done!
