Devils salad
An own recipe for a pick-me-up for 4 people.
ingredients
- 4-500 g of cooked lean beef (for example, one remainder of a meat soup)
- 3-400 g of chopped onions
- 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 2-4 hot peppers fresh or pickled. Optional
- Also go 1-2 teaspoon hot chili powder or 4-5 tablespoons sweet and sour sauce.
- Sea salt at will
- 1 pinch of ground nutmeg, cumin and cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon of horseradish mustard
- Pepper from the mill at will
- 1 teaspoon each more spices like oregano, marjoram and thyme, fresh or dried
- 1 tbsp lemon juice. Possibly. grated lemon peel from an unsprayed lemon.
- 1 tbsp of herbal vinegar or balsamic vinegar
- 4-5 tbsp oil.
preparation
- Slice meat. Remove any parts of grease, then dice slices approx. 1 cm in size. Dice the onions. Slice garlic into thin slices (tastes better than pressed).
- Core peppers and finely chop. Mix oil, vinegar and all other ingredients. Mix meat cubes and onions under it.
- Leave the finished mixture for at least 1-2 hours. It can be easily stored in the refrigerator for 3 days. Especially suitable for a prepared dinner. In addition a wholemeal bread with butter.
The more chilli, the more heat the devil salad gives off. For children, halve the amount of spicy spices.
