Fast Vitello Tonnato

If it has to be really fast, we have Manzo Tonnato - not quite original, but very, very delicious.

ingredients

(For 4 people)

  • 400 g roast beef (cut open by the butcher)

For the Tonnato sauce:

  • 1 can of tuna in oil
  • 1/2 lemon (juice)
  • 150-200 g mayonnaise
  • 1 coated EL anchovy paste or 3 anchovy fillets
  • 2 tsp. Carps + 1-2 tsp. From the broth
  • Karpern for serving

preparation

  1. Lay the roast beef on a large plate.
  2. Drain the tuna and puree with the anchovy paste and a little lemon juice. 2TL Karpern and a little broth to pass.
  3. Gradually add mayonnaise to the desired consistency and constantly whisk.
  4. Spread the Tonnato sauce generously over the roast beef and garnish with carps.
  5. A light white wine and baked Ciabatta or Panel Rustico.
