Hot glue gun helpful - 6 tips

In everyday life, a hot glue gun can be very helpful. Not only for crafting you can use them. Here are some useful tricks that I use them for.

Tip 1

Everyone knows the problem, the glue stick is used up quickly and you have to get another one and use it again. I always do that in advance, then I can work with it for a longer time. When I have heated the hot glue gun, I take a second glue stick and glue it to the end of the first, so I have a long stick and can work much longer.

Tip 2

Slipping pictures on the wall are a thing of the past if you stick some swabs on the back of the picture with hot glue and let them dry (preferably on the corners). The picture then has a better grip on the wall.

Tip 3

Loud drawer noises can be well contained with a little hot glue. Simply stick a swab of hot glue on the inside of the drawer on the right and left, then close it more quietly.

Tip 4

Use hot glue as slip protection. My phone had lost the slip protection below and so it stands straight again and has hold, I have solved that with hot glue. I stuck on all 4 corners on the bottom of swabs, now it is straight again. Speaking of who has a glass table and has lost a slide protection of the glass plate, can replace it easily with hot glue.

Tip 5

Hot glue applied to hangers prevents slipping clothes.

Tip 6

Floor mats no longer slip when you spread over the surface of large adhesive and allowed to dry.
