Meatloaf with honey crust

Ingredients for the meatloaf with honey crust:

Hackteig:
750 g according to Minced meat, 1 soaked bread roll, 4 diced onions (150 g) salt, pepper

Filling:
250 g carrots, 200 g mushrooms, 2 tablespoons honey


Furthermore:
5 tbsp honey, pepper, 2 tbsp breadcrumbs, 30 g butter, 1 lemon, 1/2 l bouillon, 3 tbsp crème fraîche, salt, sweet paprika.

Knead the ingredients for the chopped dough and season to taste. Quarter the cleaned carrots. Halve the mushrooms in half. Place a cling film on the moistened work surface and moisten it as well. Spread the meat dough into a rectangle. Place vegetables in the middle, pepper and drizzle with honey. Roll up the meat dough using the foil and squeeze well.

Mix honey with breadcrumbs, liquid butter and lemon juice, season with salt and pepper. Brush the meatloaf with it. Put in the greased drip tray.

Fry at 200 degrees for about 50 - 60 minutes. In between, deglaze with broth.

Finally, fill the bottom with any remaining broth and stir in creme fraiche and season to taste.
