Nasturtium even in winter / and what to do with it

Nasturtium is an important vitamin C supplier especially in winter. I have nasturtium in my garden, they look like in spring and as soon as they get flowers I harvest them, cut them small and then I freeze them. You can do it for example in the jars of surprise eggs then you have directly a portion for example a salad.

Or you can put them in freezer bags. nasturtium is a spicy spice so please try so it is not too spicy. In the summer you can use the fresh flowers do it in the salad and when the salad is served put some flowers on it, looks good and tastes great.

Also delicious in cottage cheese, for example If you make jacket potatoes, a quark with nasturtium, chives, parsley, tastes very delicious. It is a taste explosion in the mouth, especially fresh and also the quark you can decorate beautifully in the bowl with fresh Kapuzinerkressenblüten.

Have fun trying and good hunger!
