No more rust in the dishwasher
Finally, success! No rust in the dishwasher for weeks. I had tried ALL previous tips against rust in the dishwasher (aluminum foil, soda, etc.). Finally I gave up, collected the knives and rinsed by hand once a day. But actually I believe in Alu as a "sacrificial anode".
I have now put such an aluminum plate for silver cleaning under the cutlery basket. Since then no more rust! I suspected that my previous aluminum additions were perhaps too weak, or the alloy was wrong. The thing is under the name "silver clean" or "silver lightning" (mod. Housewife) for about 10 euros. I am well worth the money because otherwise I am very satisfied with my machine.
