No patch for major injuries at hand?

At the weekend I had a disagreement with my iron, which ended in a realtiv large combustion on my forearm.

As it happens, I had only such small plaster at hand, nothing in the required size. So, what to do? Ointment and paper towels over it? Is also rather uncomfortable.

Since I had the saving idea: I had by chance nursing deposits at home, which are similar to the surface of a patch, nice size and absorbent, etc. Works safely even with bleeding wounds. Although not sterile, but no plaster would not be sterile. It worked great!

Get well :-)
