Prepare and fry frozen prawns for frying
On a packet of frozen prawns, which are already ready to cook, ie without intestines, are sold: frozen either in hot oil or baked in the oven. I do it differently.
My tip: I let the prawns thaw on a sieve for two hours, then I dip them briefly in boiling water. First, kill any disease germs, and secondly, you can easily peel off the shell afterwards.
Afterwards, I rinse the shrimp lukewarm and dry them on paper towels.
In a pan I heat olive oil and sweat in 1 chili pepper, which I have gutted.
In addition, two garlic cloves, calm with the skin. I sprinkle some salt into the oil, then the seasoning spreads evenly on the prawns, which I fry on each side for two minutes.
Finally, add the juice of a lime and 1 tablespoon dill.
Delicious with white bread.
You can eat with a knife and fork and do not have to peel the shrimp with your fingers first. Although that too can be fun!
