Quark dumplings

Ingredients:

250 g of low-fat quark
300 g of flour
1 packet of baking soda
1 pinch of salt
70 g of sugar
250 ml of milk
6 tbsp oil
1 packet of vanilla sugar

Knead the quark, flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, oil and 50 ml of milk with the dough hook to a uniform mass.


From the dough shape round balls (Buchteln) and put in a greased form. This works best if you rub your palms with some oil. Then sprinkle over the Buchteln the vanilla sugar and pour 150 ml of milk and slide off in the heated to 180 ° C oven and bake for about 25 minutes. Check it out often! They should be golden brown.

Fruity red fruit jelly or - quite traditionally - vanilla sauce fits this.
