Saving energy with the dishwasher
My tip is of course the term washing machine at absurdum, because you have to be present during the washing process, and wait for the drying. I think that drying consumes the most electrical energy. Therefore I try to interrupt the drying process in time. I then open the door, let off the steam, dry the door from the inside with a tea towel and take the puddles out of the dishes. Then I clamp the dishcloth between the door and the device (that the moist air can pull off) and finish the washing program.
