Small tip collection for the Senseo Latte select (drinks & cleaning)
Here are some tips for latte select.
Connection of milk pack:
So I rebuilt mine and simply taped a small magnet onto the spot with Velcro, where else the magnet of the milk container sits. So I can take a cheap hose (hardware store, hose for ponds and aquariums) and connect my tetra pack.
For cleaning:
If the milk lid is dirty, no more foam. So I clean it daily with detergent and a nail brush.
If you have forgotten this or the "dirt" has seized (the milk runs through a tiny hole that can clog up!) I put the lid completely open in a glass of water with a denture cleansing tab.
This solves the dirt and I pinch to the emergency again with a needle in the hole (so far only once in over 2 years!) You also have to make sure that the small, gray wheel can be rotated, otherwise no Foam comes more (I hope I could help someone with it :-))
Drink - Warm cocoa:
It works just fine, just put some cocoa powder in the cup and press 2 times only on cleaning (with attached milk), my kiddies are happy :-)
Drink - Tea Macchiato:
You can also make delicious tea macchiato with the tea pad holder (just like latte macchiato but with black tea)
So very versatile the thing ;-)
