Sweet and sour pickled carrots

If you like carrots, like me, you might like this tip! Very light preparation.
ingredients
- about 400 g of carrots
- 2 branches of rosemary, mint or who likes thyme
- 100 ml of dry white wine
- 100 ml of vinegar no matter which, only no essence)
- 1 toe garlic
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3 tablespoons oil is best olive oil
- salt and pepper
preparation
- Peel the carrots and cut into slices approx. 3 cm thick, slightly oblique.
- Wash all the herbs well and place in a saucepan with the carrots, wine, vinegar and a little more than 100 ml of water.
- Halve the garlic and add with the sugar and the oil.
- Cook the whole for about 15 minutes and season with salt and pepper.
- When everything has cooled down, put it in a jar (always use a large mason jar) and let it soak in the fridge for 2 days.
- The carrots still remain wonderfully crisp and taste really delicious as a side dish, I especially like to fried potatoes.
