Tofu with apples, nuts and raisins in Calvados

Per person approx.

  • 100 g of tofu
  • 1 medium sweetish apple
  • 1 tbsp. Sultanienes
  • 1 tbsp. Different nuts and pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 dl cream
  • 1 tsp honey
  • soy sauce
  • Olive oil or rapeseed oil
  • Salt pepper
  • Calvados

Preparation:

Dice the tofu, season well with sea salt and a little pepper, add a handful of nuts and pumpkin seeds and fry in olive oil.
In another pan, steam the diced apples with some sugar in olive oil and add a decent Gutsch Calvados. (The apples should still be crisp). Remove the pan from the heat and leave to stand covered.

Add the cream to the tofu, add a handful of sultanas and a teaspoon of honey and season well with soy sauce. Only at the very end, before serving, gently stir the apples underneath.
Possibly. add some more calvados (according to taste).

It fits rice (for example mixed with wild rice).
