Apple quark cake
I still had quark and some apples and wanted to bake a cake. This is how this recipe came about:
Ingredients and preparation
- 3 eggs
- 100 g of sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 120 g soft butter
- 250 g quark (fat level at will)
First stir the eggs with the sugar until frothy, then stir in the soft butter and quark.
- 150 g of flour (also like whole wheat flour)
- 2 teaspoons of baking soda
- 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder (for cooking)
- a bit of salt
Mix these dry ingredients well and stir briefly under the other mixture.
Now set the stove to 180 ° and grease the baking tin (about 26 cm in diameter). Fill the dough into the mold and smooth it out.
Peel 4 apples, remove seeds, cut into small slices and spread on the dough.
Now you can mix a few ground nuts with a little cinnamon and some sugar and sprinkle over the apples.
The whole thing is baked about 40-45 minutes.
The cake is juicy and delicious and is made really fast.
