Baked Apple Jam

Matching the winter time, I tried something new, first I was a little skeptical, because apple jam is not really my thing, but the spices it was very very tasty on the Butterbrötchen.
ingredients
- 1 kg of apples (sourish)
- 50 g raisins
- 50 g of sliced almonds
- 100 ml apple juice
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 500 g jam sugar 2: 1
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- the marrow of a vanilla pod
preparation
- Cut the peeled apples into small cubes and cook them together with the raisins, the apple juice and the scraped vanilla pod.
- Roast the almonds in a pan and add to the apples together with the cinnamon and the lemon juice and stir well. (I pressed the almonds a bit with a mortar).
- Then mix in the gelling sugar and boil for about 5 minutes bubbly.
- Put in hot rinsed glasses.
By the way, even on vanilla ice cream, the jam tastes very good.
