Increase bed part with towel roll under the mattress

Sometimes you have to raise a part of the bed but you do not have an adjustable slatted frame. Pillows have a different warmth than usual in the bed, and it is not so "even" increased because you can sink into the pillows.

Then you can e.g. roll up a towel and place it under the mattress on the slatted base at the foot. Or for the head: roll up a towel and a larger book over it (to better balance the pressure of the upper body), as well as the mattress above.

This helps if a child is to be stored for a short time because of coughing, or if you want to raise your legs, etc. Of course, it is only a short-term solution.
