magic apple
It occurred to me quite spontaneously today that my mother used to give me a magic apple to school. Very easy to do, with small children with great impact. Bring out core casing with an apple peeler. Then think the cross line and then slice the apple along with a sharp knife.
The child now collects the apple as a whole and can conjure up a half by quickly taking down the top half of the apple.
With us this apple arrived well at school and I can still remember that suddenly many classmates had and had an apple (even those who never had fruit with them).
