Now is the main strawberry time and you just have to conjure up something delicious from the delicious berries. It does not always have to be a cake, even a dessert from the delicious fruit can be something special. That's why I've tried a quick strawberry mousse and must say, just delicious and tastes like more!

ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons of orange juice
  • 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 pck vanilla extract (eg Dr. Oetker)
  • 300 g fresh strawberries
  • 1 tbsp ground gelatin (9 g)
  • Beaten 250 ml of cream
  • Pistachios and / or mint leaves for decoration

preparation

  1. Rip off the strawberries, clean and puree them in a blender or with a pass bar and add the vanilla extract.
  2. Pour the orange juice into a saucepan and let the bag swell briefly in the juice, heat slightly - do not boil - and then add this mixture also to the pureed strawberries.
  3. Now the prepared mass is briefly put in a bowl in a cool place. Then the cream is beaten and the 4 lightly heaped EL powdered sugar stirred.
  4. Now the cream can be mixed with the strawberry mass and the finished mousse can now be chilled for an hour.
  5. To serve, take a spoonful warmed in warm water, sting 2 or 3 cams, decorate them with some nice fruit pieces and a few pistachios and / or mint leaves, done!

Let it taste good!
