Summer shoes wide with bottleneck

Beautiful summer shoes and Hessian feet - my problem always. I have a slightly broad metatarsus and instep.

In order not to stretch the whole shoe (with damp paper or shoe tensioners) and also, so as not to be painful, if the sandals, slippers or loafers press between the instep and toe roots or often cut something, I do the following:

I put a glass fountain bottle in the shoe (as if it were my foot) and leave it overnight. The next day I try, if it has been sufficient, if not, I press an inch further, etc ... Thus, I only extend the "entrance" of the shoe. Can you force it with water or a corresponding dilating spray, if you like it and the shoes can handle it in the estimation.
I still picture, alone, because it looks so wonderfully stupid ...
