Here is the recipe for a Swiss bread-egg-pan, a delicious casserole and also very inexpensive. On days when you can not go shopping due to all the work, I suggest you this casserole. Even if you can see the back wall inside the fridge, you probably still have the following ingredients in the house:

1 1/2 L of milk
400 g old white bread or bread rolls
6 eggs
1 chopped onion
2 tablespoons of chives or parsley (can also be dried)

Pour the milk into a bowl and put the sliced ​​white bread into it. After a while, everything softens and you can stir a porridge. Now the eggs are mixed in, as well as the onion, chives, pepper and salt.

A casserole dish is spread with butter or oil, the bread-milk-egg mush comes in. Spread some oil or butterflakes over the mold.

Put in the oven and bake, 180 degrees, about 45 minutes. The surface should be nice and brown!

This fits very well with a potato salad and a green salad. You can also mix both varieties on the plate.
