Turn white shoelaces into off-white / light beige
I definitely needed woolen white or light beige shoelaces for a few shoes. Unfortunately, I only had white at home and could not leave to get new ones. Then I tried the following:
I simply "put" the white shoelaces in a cup of black tea for half an hour, washed them well and let them dry quickly on the heater. The tea bag should be taken out beforehand so that no stains occur and the color is even.
The result was great. Even on the front of the plastic it was beige. Just like I wanted her.
