Chili sin carne - vegan fast and easy chili

When I am in stress again and have no time to cook, I like to fall back on this tasty and totally uncomplicated recipe: chili sin carne, a vegan chili.
Unfortunately, since all my dishes are spontaneous, I can not give exact quantities, but it may still be useful for one or the other as a "suggestion". I use for my animal-suffering chili:
ingredients
- 1 packet of tofu
- a few tomatoes
- 1 can of kidney beans
- tomato sauce
- Also: salt, pepper, curry, paprika and some Sambal Oelek (alternatively Tabasco)
preparation
- I shred the tofu with my hands, with a fork, and fry it briefly in a hot pot.
- Then fill with tomato sauce and diced tomatoes and simmer briefly.
- Finally, add the drained kidney beans and simmer everything with the lid closed over low heat for about 10-20 minutes (the lower the heat and the longer it pulls, the better).
- Season generously just before serving.
This "recipe" is, of course, expandable and should, as already mentioned above, rather serve as a suggestion.
Of course you can supplement food according to taste and time.
I like to cut chopped peppers or corn.
P.S. Even my non-vegan friend likes the chili. Just try it :-)
