Chili sin carne - vegan fast and easy chili

Time

Preparation time: 15 min.
Cooking or baking time: 15 min.
Total preparation time: 30 min.

When I am in stress again and have no time to cook, I like to fall back on this tasty and totally uncomplicated recipe: chili sin carne, a vegan chili.

Unfortunately, since all my dishes are spontaneous, I can not give exact quantities, but it may still be useful for one or the other as a "suggestion". I use for my animal-suffering chili:

ingredients

  • 1 packet of tofu
  • a few tomatoes
  • 1 can of kidney beans
  • tomato sauce
  • Also: salt, pepper, curry, paprika and some Sambal Oelek (alternatively Tabasco)

preparation

  1. I shred the tofu with my hands, with a fork, and fry it briefly in a hot pot.
  2. Then fill with tomato sauce and diced tomatoes and simmer briefly.
  3. Finally, add the drained kidney beans and simmer everything with the lid closed over low heat for about 10-20 minutes (the lower the heat and the longer it pulls, the better).
  4. Season generously just before serving.

This "recipe" is, of course, expandable and should, as already mentioned above, rather serve as a suggestion.

Of course you can supplement food according to taste and time.

I like to cut chopped peppers or corn.

P.S. Even my non-vegan friend likes the chili. Just try it :-)
