Homemade ginger lemonade

That was my drink for the Germany-Greece-game for the alcoholics among my guests and he arrived very well.

Ginger Lemonade

  1. For each jar, take a piece of ginger, about half a thumb in length, half an untreated lemon, of which the juice and grated peel, brown sugar to taste, a few ice cubes and soda water to fill.
  2. The ginger is peeled and finely chopped, the lemon peel rubbed or peeled in fine zest and squeezed the juice, the three ingredients with the sugar stirred and crushed with a spoon, left a little.
  3. Then add the sparkling water, stir well a couple of times (you can also put it in the shaker) and then pour the whole thing over a sieve into a glass with ice cubes. Delicious!
