Kohlrabi in delicious sauce

ingredients

  • 3 big kohlrabi
  • 200 ml of cream
  • about 300 ml of milk
  • salt
  • nutmeg
  • 8-herb
  • butter
  • Sauce binder / roux

preparation

  1. Turn the kohlrabi into bite-sized cubes. Boil in water, so it still has bite. Drain, drain well after cooking.
  2. In the same pot a piece of butter (not a whole piece of butter;)) melt. Turn the kohlrabi in the butter and add the cream and milk. Season with salt and nutmeg.
  3. Boil the kohlrabi in the liquid and, if desired, thicken the liquid with a sauce binder or roux.
  4. Finally add the herbs.
