Brussels sprouts are delicious, pasta is delicious - bacon and parmesan - delicious!
The trick with this quick dish is to cut the Brussels sprouts into thin slices. At 300 g for 4 people that's pretty much fixed!
Ingredients for 4 persons)
- 400 g of short noodles
- 300 g of bacon
- Parsley chopped, 3 tbsp
- 300 g Brussels sprouts, weighed after cleaning (cleaning: cut off a slice at the bottom and possibly remove withered leaves)
- Grated 150 g of parmesan
- Pepper, salt, a little sugar, olive oil
preparation
- 300 g of lean bacon is sautéed in small cubes in a pan and immediately the Brussels sprouts are added. Stir regularly until the green becomes more intense and the sprouts collapse. Peppers and set aside.
- Now the pasta is cooked - so 400 g for 4 people. I've taken tube noodles, every short noodle shape fits.
- Drain, pick up a cup of cooking water, mix with the vegetables.
- Grate 150 g of Parmesan roughly, fold in half and top it with chopped parsley. I added some salt, a pinch of sugar and a few drops of olive oil.
- Put on deep plates and some Parmesan, if desired.
Good Appetite! It supposedly already two people have plastered this amount ... but with a salad 4 are guaranteed full.
