Stale bread: Making meatballs - use leftovers

Most of the time, nobody wants to eat the bread, which is already 4-5 days old.

For this you whisk 1-2 eggs with a little milk, about 3 slices of bread, crumbles or cuts it small and softens it in the egg milk.

You can also add ham or bacon, mushrooms or salami remnants depending on what the fridge gives.


Pepper, salt, herbs of choice e.g. Parsley, thyme, chives, basil etc. whatever you have.

Some grated cheese, which is just there.

Now mix everything together as meatballs shape and fry in a pan with fat.

A hot meal where you can eat tomato salad, cucumber salad, bean salad, etc.
